Why is the memory on the server not released when i close all my tables and queries?
Most database engines have some form of caching implemented, to improve performance. What you see is this caching. The default for a TnxServerEngine is to use up to 1/2 physical RAM available. In your own setups (embedded or remote server) you can adjust the value if needed either via the server engine's MaxRAM property in code directly or the NexusDB server user interface.
