Yes, you read right. I'm off for a "whopping" two weeks of holidays to India (why is it always the others that can go for 3 months???).

It's the first time I will be away from the company for more than an extended weekend (longest was 4 1/2 days for my "honeymoon") since more than 7 years.

It's the first time I'll go on a real holiday with my wife Mita.

It's the first time I'm going to India. Visiting Mumbai, Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Ranthambore.

It's the first time I'm going to stay in a real top star hotel. Oberoi Amervilas.

It's the first time I'm going to stay in a real palace. Rambagh Palace.

It's the first time I'm going to see elephants and tigers in the wild. Ranthambore Tigers

It's the first time I'll meet my father in law in person. So far I only saw him on photos and spoke to him on the phone (that's actually the moment I'm looking forward the most, but also am scared of the most - even though he is the nicest person one can imagine).

It's the first time that NexusDB's day to day business will be run by someone one else.

You can see, I'm VERY excited and looking forward to a break. And I mean a real break. I won't carry a notebook, I won't carry a cell phone and I won't set foot into any internet cafe in these 2 weeks. Pure bliss :)

Anyways, if some things are a bit slow and take longer than usual, please be patient. Eivind and Geoff will try their best to keep everything running, but they are only 2 instead of the usual 5 people. So expect delays in certain things.

I will be off in 36 hours from now and will be back to full work on Monday the 20th of October.
